Crosby's Bicentennial Celebration was indeed a day to remember! The day was full of laughter, joy, and unity, and it reminded all of the Crosby citizens (old and young) that Crosby is not just a place on the map but a thriving, close-knit community. We were so excited to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime celebration, and we're here to share all the memorable details of this historic event with you!
The celebration began with excitement as the Crosby community came together along the stretch of 2100 that runs through town to witness an incredible parade. The local schools, businesses, and community organizations put on their best displays, showing their creativity, community spirit, and love for Crosby. The streets echoed with cheers as the floats passed, each more spectacular than the last. Families gathered along the sidewalks, catching flying candy and celebrating the rich history of our beloved town. As we ran out of candy, the Skero's team decided to hand out water to the community members to keep everyone hydrated and relaxed on the hot September day! When we ran out of water, a willing participant in the crowd enjoyed a fun ice challenge!
Just after the parade ended, the fantastic car show began! From vintage classics to muscle cars, many beautifully restored vehicles lined the streets, each a testament to their owners' passion and dedication. It was a sight to behold, and the car enthusiasts were in awe of the stunning machines on display. As the car show revved on, the festivities continued as neighbors connected at the town's fair and rodeo center for the remainder of the day, full of fantastic food, vendors, entertainment, and much more!

It highlighted the incredible people, businesses, and organizations that are the backbone of this community. It celebrated our history and gave us a glimpse into our promising future.
